I just love festive dishes over the holidays. These are so cute, will impress your guests, and best part is they are so easy to make! Below you'll find ingredients & directions on how I made just the 12 above egg halves, but you could easily do just the pumpkin or just the spiders, double the recipe, etc...Get creative and enjoy!

You will need:
  1. 6 hard boiled eggs
  2. 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  3. 1 tsp white vinegar
  4. 1/2 tsp mustard
  5. Salt & Pepper
  6. Red, yellow, green food dye.
  7. Garnish: black olives, green onion, paprika.
DIRECTIONS:

Prep work:
  1. Make your hard boiled eggs and allow them to cool. I use a Dash Go Rapid egg cooker which makes them perfect!
  2. Slice eggs in half and spoon the yolks into a bowl. and set the whites aside.
  3. Add the egg yolks, mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, dash of salt & pepper in a bowl and mix together until smooth.
  4. Split the yolk mix into 2 small bowls for separating the food coloring. If you are only making one of the designs then no need to split. For the pumpkins add a couple drops of red & one yellow and then play around with it until you get desired color. For the spider eggs use a couple drops of green.
Now for the decor & garnish portion...
  1. Using a spoon or small spatula spread your mixtures out amongst the eggs and use the back of your spoon or spatula to smooth. I use a small spatula to clean up around the yolk mixture to make the eggs look clean because let's be honest, you don't just spoon mixture into the egg and have it look as clean as it does above.
  2. For the pumpkins: sprinkle paprika on top and insert a small slice of green onion in for the stem.
  3. For the spiders: halve black olives and sit into yolk mix for the body. For the legs halve and slice olives into the slices. You may even want to halve the slices again ( I did ) and set around the body.
