Alfredo sauce, AKA one of my favorite comfort foods, tossed with shrimp sauteed in butter & tossed with linguine noodles is basically heaven on a plate. One of my favorite things about making alfredo sauce at home (recipe) is you know it is as fresh as possible and you can control everything going into it. Don't get me wrong, it's not like it's healthy, but sometimes those extra few tablespoons of butter the restaurant down the street tosses in there maybe aren't actually necessary for flavor? Just my opinion, but I love knowing I've made it and it has just what it needs. If you don't like shrimp you could eat this plain or substitute for grilled chicken, but the buttered shrimp sure tastes amazing to compliment this sauce! Note: This recipe serves 2-4 people depending on if this is your main dish or being complimented by sides. For 4 or more people I would recommend doubling the recipe. Directions:
