Protein and energy balls have become one of my favorite things to make up and have in the fridge or on hand at the office. I know y'all must be loving them too because the number one recipe on the blog so far are these chunky PB energy bites. As soon as I saw Reese's spread in the store I knew I had to try a Reese's version, and to up the dose of "healthy" I mixed it with a whey protein powder and they came out mouth watering delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Reese's spread
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 1/4 cup oats
  • 1 scoop chocolate PB protein powder (42g)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla (optional)
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

This recipe yields 12-16 balls.

Directions:
  1. Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl
  2. Mix together to the best of your abilities with a spoon or spatula.and then fully mix together with your hands.
  3. Pack and roll balls into desired size with your hands.
  4. Keep chilled for best results & enjoy!

*If your recipe comes out too dry or to creamy just add in a little more spread or oats to counteract! These aren't an exact science!

How many grams of protein do these have per ball?

Although the game is called softball, the ball is not soft. It is actually made of leather in the exterior and consists of two pieces which are sewn together with thread whereas their core is often a blend of rubber and cork or is made of fiber kapok.

Dumb idea. Why would you post this in the middle of nowhere? This talks about a recipe and not a game.
