Why are sliders so much more fun to eat than a regular sandwich? Maybe because they're mini and everything's cuter mini, or maybe because I get to eat 3 not just 1. Not really sure, but I know I can't get enough of them and can't wait to make many more combinations. These pulled pork with toasted buns & coleslaw were the absolute bomb.com. I made them up for dinner but these would be a perfect appetizer to put out on game day or a party tray as well! I also love that the slow cooker does most of the work on this one so it's a fairly effortless but totally tasty dish... but don't worry, if you don't have time to slow cook and just want to put some sliders together I'll give you the short cut!
Ingredients:
  • Slider buns or Hawaiian rolls (found in bakery section or bread isle at your grocery store)
  • Coleslaw, I used a ready to mix kit found in the packaged lettuce area at your grocery store.
  • Pulled pork meat
    • Option A: Make it yourself in slow cooker (8 hours) - click here for recipe!
    • Option B: Buy pre-made Jack Daniels pulled pork, typically found in meat area at the grocery store.
Directions:
  1. Prepare or heat your pulled pork per my recipe or instructions on pre made meat packaging.
  2. If you want to toast and heat the buns preheat oven to 350'. Slice buns into your sandwich tops & bottoms. Bake 3-5 minutes
  3. Prepare your coleslaw.
  4. Layer bottom bun, pulled pork, coleslaw, top bun.
  5. Enjoy!!!!
