Hi y'all! Happy Memorial Day - I loved finally getting some beautiful summer weather this weekend and having a long weekend to kick back and enjoy a good margarita. These are perfect for all our summer holidays like Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day... or could of course be made any time for a fun and festive drink! I'll be honest, they weren't as effort free as I was expecting based on some other similar posts and ideas I'd seen online, but after a little trial and error I got the hang of it and can hopefully make them a little more effort free for you! I'm not going to lie.... once accomplished these were dangerously good, like I feel like I'm drinking a refreshing smoothie and there's no alcohol in this kind of good. On that note, let's get to it so you can enjoy them too! This recipe yields 5-6 margaritas, each big enough to fill a mason jar as pictured. Feel free to cut the recipe down, or make more, depending on your needs. Note: I used a few drops of red & blue food dye in those layers in order to get them to be a vibrant color. This is totally not necessary if you would prefer not to use food coloring. Also, the white layer blended in to the others so quickly and is basically non-existent by the time I captured photos, however still make this layer, as it really does help keep the red and blue apart!
