After making the chocolate peanut butter version of these a couple weeks ago I couldn't wait to try a different combo and make no bake energy bites again. You guys loved them, everyone who got to eat them loved them, I loved them, and they take me 10 minutes to make! I mean seriously, I whipped these up while getting ready for the work day this morning and brought them in for a snack same day. Easy, quick, and packed with good nutrients... what more could you ask for in a snack recipe. These are only four ingredients and are loaded with omega-3s from the flaxseed, protein, and fiber!
Per 12 energy bites you will need:
  • 1 1/4 cup old fashioned oats
  • 2/3 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 4 tbsp honey - I find that a good think honey, not liquid squeeze bottle honey works best, as pictured to the right.
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed

Directions:
  • Put all ingredients in a mixing bowl, and stir up!
  • Put mix in freezer for five minutes before rolling your balls, this is optional but the colder batter is easier to work with.
  • Roll into 1 inch diameter balls to get about 12 servings, but you can make them however you like.
  • Store in fridge or air tight container and enjoy, seriously it is that easy!

People have become really creative about the way they cook recently. I mean, I love eating cookies and I know how to prepare them as well. However, it is just recently, when I found out that you can prepare cookies without baking them. I was really shocked by it, I thought that you cannot make cookies crunchy and good without baking them. However, after watching this tutorial on the internet, I gained the knowledge I need to make some no-bake-cookies.
