Tis the season for holiday family gatherings! These honey soy garlic meatballs, lightened up by using turkey meat and low sodium soy sauce are so easy to make and are a perfect appetizer to serve up at any gathering.
MEATBALL INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup Panko crumbs
  • 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp garlic salt
SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 3/8 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/8 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Preheat oven to 350'.
  2. In a mixing bowl combine all meatball ingredients, stir or mix with hands until evenly combined.
  3. Grease a baking sheet (or use silcone baking mat). Roll meat into approx. 15 meatballs and place on baking sheet.
  4. Bake 25 minutes (be sure to check they are cooked all the way through before serving.
  5. While the meatballs are baking let's make the sauce. Mix together all ingredients in a bowl and stir until evenly combined. I melted the honey first as I used a thick honey, not honey from a squirt bottle. If you are using this kind as well just melt the honey in the microwave until it's a more liquid substance and then stir the rest of your ingredients in.
  6. Toss cooked meatballs in the sauce.
  7. Serve and ENJOY!

Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe with us. Great shot of these appetizing foods. Its simple yet really satisfying to see this mouthwatering food serve in front of me. I really love honey garlic recipes like if it's cooked in pork or chicken. Your recipe is fast to make and common ingredients used so I'll definitely ask my mother to cook this for me and I will surely add this to my favorites. Hope to see more of these easy to cook meals of yours.
